I have read too that you can use the E90 chassis type within INPA to work in certain areas on an E81/E82. Would be amazing if someone experienced in INPA usage would chime in on this. So we may need to use another program to diagnose issues with our cars. SOOoooo having looked high and low I am not sure that INPA does fully "support" the E89 (even having updated SP-daten to V60.1 for the E89 chassis family). the National Crime Squad (NCS) and most recently the new Serious.

I am by no means an expert, but I have recently got the software & a cable to code on my E46, and I struggled for quite some time on finding a really in depth & detailed how-to guide. However, these options are dependent on files within that same directory (eg E46.ENG E87.ENG). This is, hopefully, the most complete how-to guide for using NCS Expert to code a BMW. Within this file you can change the various chassis types that are available in the program. Good question, and I'm trying to work out the answer.ĭon't know how technical you are but if you have a look in the INPA installation directory (for me that's C:\EC-APPS\INPA\CFGDAT) you'll find INPA.INI.
